I was born and raised in England (London), and I hold a level 5 TEFL qualification from The TEFL Academy. I grew up bilingual, speaking both English and Serbian due to my mixed heritage, and so I've had an interest in modern languages from a very early age! As someone who studied modern languages at university, I'm aware of how challenging learning a new language can be. Aside from languages, I'm very interested in music (an eclectic range of genres), sports (running, boxing, calisthenics), reading, and cultural exchange.我的教學經歷
As mentioned, I have a level 5 TEFL qualification. I aim to help people break past any confidence or competence plateaus they've encountered whilst learning the English language.
I see the value not only in knowing the formalities of a language, but in understanding the slang, colloquial language, and linguistic quirks that textbooks won't often teach you. 我的課程內容與教學風格
My teaching style is mainly suited to learners who possess an intermediate level of knowledge of the English language. The approach is fairly conversational, and I am hoping to help people who have struggled with translating their personality from their native language into English. I'm well aware that many English learners out there have the competence to speak the language, and hold the necessary knowledge of English grammar to really have a good grasp of the language, and yet, when they try to speak English and express their personality, they struggle. TeacherAs someone with family and close friends in Eastern Europe who don't speak English as a native language, I have informally helped them improve their level of English, as I am able to bridge between English and Serbian, translating things on the spot for my friends and family members for whom English is not their first language. This has given me a practical understanding of the challenges non-native speakers face.
