Another fun lesson with Satoko-san! Today we talked about the movies we like, different types of music, and the seasons and weather. Our lessons are always so much fun that the time seems to fly by. I really enjoy being able to practice Japanese through conversations about everyday topics, and I’m looking forward to our next lesson!

Today was my fourth lesson with Satoko-sensei and I'm extremely grateful for her extraordinary help and support! I asked her to work through Genki I with me and review all the grammar points, and I'm very happy with the way the lessons are structured. We do grammar exercises and Satoko-sensei explains the material clearly, but she also readily answers all the questions that I've accumulated during my previous self-study. I also get plenty of opportunities to try speaking freely, even though it's still very difficult for me. But Satoko-sensei encourages my attempts at conversation in such a positive and empathetic way! I'm also tremendously grateful for her homework corrections and explanations. I really couldn't be happier with our lessons. Thank you so, so much!

Another great lesson with Satoko-さん! The lesson was so much fun that it felt like it was over in the blink of an eye. We shared stories and had a great time practicing Japanese together. The conversation was the perfect level for my current skills, and I felt comfortable practicing and expressing myself in Japanese. It was a really fun lesson, and I’m looking forward to the next one!

Another really fun lesson with Satoko-san! We shared stories about different restaurants, sports, and different weather events. It was a great way to practice Japanese while learning more about each other and our different experiences. I really enjoyed the lesson and am looking forward to the next one!

Every class with Satoko is full of practice and learning! She really cares about the learning process of the student. Not only during the class, but in between lessons she keeps you busy with homework so you do not stop practicing. We recently started unit 2 of Genki textbook and I plan to continue enjoying classes with Satoko.

It was a great first lesson! It was fun getting to know each other while practicing Japanese. Satoko-さん was very patient and was able to explain concepts in English whenever I didn't understand something, which made the lesson easy to follow and enjoyable. I'm looking forward to having many more lessons together in the future. I would definitely recommend learning with her!
