My name is Jumi (formerly Felicia), I'm a Swedish - English bi-lingual native speaker, currently living in my beloved hometown Malmö. I've been doing Swedish tutoring on and off through different mediums for over a decade now! I love language and culture but my true passion is instilling confidence and nurture curiosity in others!我的教學經歷
Having found love for language, culture, and teaching, I set off to Korea to work as an English tutor. Well here in Korea, I began studying Korean, but having never learned a language as an adult before, I struggled immensely. However, that all changed when I came across my tutor. With her help, I found joy in learning and started developing exponentially. Feeling grateful and inspired you now find me here on Italki, aiming to be as amazing of a tutor for Swedish learners, as my tutor has been for me.
My daytime job is teaching, but here on Italki I offer conversation practice, rather than formal lessons! 我的課程內容與教學風格
Since I believe speaking to be both the fastest way to learn a language, as well as the most important language skill, my lessons will be focused on conversation.
Having diverse conversations about your interests in an encouraging, comfortable atmosphere, is my number one priority.
