Kaixo! 👋 I’m Gorka, a CELTA-certified teacher based in Japan. Over the years, I have helped countless students of all levels achieve their goals.
While teaching English is really fun, Basque is especially close to my heart. Helping students get into their dream universities or achieve a test score that leads to a promotion is incredibly rewarding. However, there's something truly special about helping people reconnect with or discover Euskara.
Whether you're starting from scratch or are an independent learner looking for practice, I offer tailored lessons with support in various languages to ensure an engaging experience.

The way i work with Gorka is that I prepare a text for us to review together during the class. That way I decide what I am trying to learn and he helps me understand better what mistakes I have made, as well as covering matters which crop during the class. I think it works very well and Gorka is always clear and helpful.

This week's lesson was a lot more complex and we went over a few new grammar rules. I was having a bit of trouble with the nuances, but Gorka was able to explain and guide me though the differences and mistakes I was making.
