My name is Anna and I am a Danish native speaker born and raised in Copenhagen, Denmark in a Chinese family.
I currently live in Tokyo, Japan where I've lived since January 2025, but other than that, I've lived in Denmark my entire life.
Apart from Danish, I also speak english and Mandarin Chinese fluently, and Japanese on an advanced level. I used to also learn French and Korean, so I have lots of experience with learning new languages, which can hopefully help me improve the quality of the lessons for you.

As someone who has learned many different languages before, I know how hard it can be to learn a new foreign language, so I want you to feel comfortable during my lessons and know it's okay to ask any type of questions and make mistakes.
I have a lot of experience talking with people from different cultures and backgrounds, so I would love to meet you and know more about you too!

Anna's lessons are always extremely well prepared and structured, so you always know what to expect in that regard. She always brings interesting and authentic clips, articles and topics about different aspects of the Danish culture.
Because these materials are authentic, she makes sure you're listening and reading Danish as it is used in daily life. Her lessons are very well scaffolded, ensuring that you are first understanding before diving into trying to speak and producing sentences yourself. She makes them available beforehand, so you can always take a look prior to the lesson and go through the vocabulary you will need that day.

Anna helped me prepare for my PD3 module 4 oral exam. We rehearsed some brief presentations together and she helped me prepare my points.
Anna was patient, helpful, and gave me ample feedback to help me improve my pronunciation. It's particularly helpful to set a milestone to work towards, and I would recommend that to anyone who wishes to have a lesson with Anna.
