Hi there! I’m a passionate English and Russian teacher with over 9 years of experience working with children and adults from around the world.
My lessons are fun, structured and creative. I use games, stories, songs and interactive activities to help kids enjoy learning languages and gain confidence step by step.
For adults, I focus on communication, fluency and practical vocabulary that fits real-life situations.
Whether your child is just beginning to explore English or you want to improve your Russian for travel or work, I’ll make sure you enjoy every step of the journey!

With over 9 years of experience teaching English and Russian to students from all over the world, I've learned that patience and adaptability are key. I tailor my lessons to match your unique learning goals, making sure that you get the most out of each session. 我的課程內容與教學風格
In our lessons, we'll dive into the language you want to master, with a strong focus on speaking. My goal is to create a comfortable and encouraging environment where you can build confidence and fluency. During our trial lesson, we'll identify the areas you want to improve and get a feel for your current speaking skills. My teaching style is based on the communicative approach, which means you'll be using your target language right from the start.

After a little more than 50 lessons with Svetlana, I must say that I'm very pleased with my progress. I started Russian as an absolute beginner and now I can at least survive when I'm travelling to Russia for my work, I can understand better our Russian speaking customers and I can write/read simple conversations. Working with Svetlana has always been engaging and she motivates me to do my best. You can tell that she cares about her students. The material we use and homework are well designed. She doesn't hesitate to share personal experience, and it's always cool and useful to learn about each other's cultures.

I was hesitant to get a teacher to start my Russian learning journey as I've been trying to learn on my own for a few months now, and Svetlana was extremely patient with my almost non-existent Russian. I feel like she's the missing key to opening my Russian skills!

I’ve been learning English for a long time, I’ve tried different ways, different teachers. But I formed an alliance with Svetlana. I always prepare for class, although no one forces me to do it. It’s interesting for me to communicate with Svetlana, because it’s just interesting, it gives me motivation. Svetlana also sends interesting and practical tasks to complete as homework.
