I’ve really enjoyed learning Japanese with Koko! As a visual learner, I really appreciate the materials she uses in our lessons, which make the content engaging and easy to remember. Her excellent English also allows her to explain even complex grammar concepts clearly and effectively. She’s incredibly friendly and approachable, so I always feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes without feeling nervous. I’d highly recommend Koko to anyone learning Japanese!

Was fun studying N2 kanji!

A great trial lesson. Koko-san was nice, and even though it was just 30 minutes because of it being a trial, she already gave me a mini lesson to see where my current level was. This meant I was already able to practice speaking and learn right out the gate.

Koko is a very kind and well-prepared teacher. I really liked that the lesson was structured and easy to follow. 😌 She works with Minna no Nihongo and had prepared a presentation for the lesson, which made it very easy to understand the different topics and exercises. I also really appreciated that we did speaking exercises together, so I could actively use what I had learned instead of only reading or studying grammar. Koko guided me through the lesson very clearly and always made sure that I understood everything. I really enjoyed my first lesson with her, and I especially liked the structured way she teaches. 😊
