Hi! I’m a passionate language learner and experienced professional teacher who has been teaching languages since 2017 here on italki. My journey with languages began in childhood, and I started tutoring English while still in school. Over the years, I’ve helped students of all ages and backgrounds improve their skills and gain confidence in speaking. I love traveling and connecting with people from different cultures, which is why I also study foreign languages myself. I know firsthand how exciting and challenging this journey can be—especially with complex languages like Russian and Ukrainian. That’s why I admire and support every student who takes on the challenge!

Here’s what you can expect from my lessons: ✅ Grammar – I provide clear explanations and useful materials that you can keep and refer to anytime in the future. ✅ Vocabulary – We’ll use effective apps and tools to help you learn and remember new words faster. ✅ Reading – We’ll explore a variety of texts, gradually moving from simple to more advanced, to build confidence and comprehension. ✅ Speaking – Speaking is a top priority in my lessons! You’ll have plenty of practice every time we meet. ✅ Writing – You’ll receive engaging writing tasks and homework to reinforce what you’ve learned and track your progress. My approach is practical, supportive, and always tailored to your goals.

Anastasia’s lessons are always fun, exciting and very well prepared. She shows me how to construct sentences easily and with confidence. I would strongly recommend anyone who is interested in studying Ukrainian or Russian (or even English because her English is perfect) to have her lessons. They are fun and exciting. If you want to choose the best teacher on italki then I highly recommend you take this amazing teacher’s trial lesson and then you will understand how great she is!

I've been regularly taking lessons from Anastasia for a year, and my Russian has improved by leaps and bounds over that time. Anastasia treats the tutor role like a relationship rather than a job, and it shows in her work. At some point, studying the language is no longer abstract: the language is a tool to communicate with people you care about. Anastasia slots into that role as you learn about each other to keep you motivated. I'm very fortunate to have found Anastasia a year ago, and anyone else should be so lucky to befriend her the way I have. If you're thinking about learning Russian or Ukrainian, she's the best choice.
