Hello, My name is Michiko Miyake. I am a Japanese who is living in Japan. When I was a student, I’ve lived in Brighton, Britain for learning their language and I have experience to live in Buenos Aires, Argentina. So I can speak Spanish not just English. Apart from teaching Japanese, I am a writer, translator (Japanese to English vice versa, Japanese to Spanish vice versa) and I am helping for a project of Nazca Lines in Yamagata University.I also worked for international students service in the university as an administrative officer. I would love to help you to learn Japanese. It would be an opportunity for you to visit here, to have great experience and to make a lot of Japanese friends.

我的教學經歷

My major is education and I have a teaching license for English and other subjects.I’ve been teaching Japanese for 2 years on the internet and face to face class. The students are from Mexico, El Salvador, Venezuela, Britain and Ireland. I have taught Japanese in a company for a Mexican apprentice as well. I would love to use various materials such as songs that you like, publicities for Japanese food, comercial etc. It could be nice for translating some phrases from Kimi no Nawa together.

I recommend you to use google documents and Evernote ( both apps are no charge to use) so that we can save the contains of the classes and you can review after the class. Informal class 1 Grammar clase; Use a text “Genki” if you don’t have one, I can send you images. 2 Have a conversation in Japanese

Llevo unos pocos meses aprendiendo japonés sola, y por fin me he decidido a practicar lo poco aprendido con una profesora. Me alegro mucho de haber hablado con Michiko-san, ha sido muy amable y agradable, me ha motivado a seguir aprendiendo. I had another great lesson with Michiko. Today we talked about relatives, telling time, school, and occupations. When I respond to her questions, I type them out using googles IME on a shared document. She always checks my spelling to make sure its correct. Here's a link for anyone reading this to type in 日本語　https://www.google.co.jp/ime/. Since I haven't bought a workbook yet, she has sent me scanned pages with exercises in katakana and hiragana so I can work independently in between lessons. If you are serious about learning Japanese, please consider working with Michiko. She always provides a rewarding learning experience.

I really enjoyed my lesson with Michiko. We spent the first part in free conversation and from the get-go she struck a great balance between conversing with me and correcting my grammar and word choice. She then helped me break down some reading passages I had sent her the day before and was able to use English to help me understand a lot of the complexities. I definitely recommend her!
