Hi, I'm Mio! I'm from Japan, and have been teaching Japanese on iTalki for over 8years now! Having lived in China, California, Minnesota, and Belgium, I understand how hard it is to learn foreign languages! So I try to make language learning as relaxing and fun as possible!
* I am a native Japanese speaker * At university, I studied both English and Chinese, and have stayed for long amounts of time in both China and America. If you have questions can explain things in both these languages. * Having lived abroad for such a long time, I am used to communicating with and correcting Japanese language learners. * I was a volunteer in a children's Japanese school and am skilled in teaching young learners of the language!
I specialize in conversation classes for advanced learners of Japanese who want to increase their vocabulary. Despite this, I have also taught classes to children (I have a small child myself!), and to beginners. I always do my best to adapt to your needs as a learner. If you want to use a structure for our classes (like a textbook), that's no problem.
Cancellations: Please let me know at least 8 hours before the start of class if you want to cancel a class, and we can find another time. If you inform me less than 8 hours or not at all, I'm afraid I cannot do refunds.我的教材

This was our first lesson!
Our lesson was focused on conversation, and we talked about a variety of things. Mio先生 was very patient with my low level of Japanese and was always able to help me out when I didn't know a word or grammar point.ありがとうございます先生！
