Johana was a very friendly teacher for our first lesson together! We began with casual conversation, and she asked me questions that progressed in difficulty and used different verb tenses to assess my level of skill in listening to and speaking Spanish. One thing that I always look for in a teacher is one who will correct my mistakes, and she did so both verbally and in writing, allowing me to visualize where my weaknesses lie. By the end of the 30-minute call, she was able to properly gauge my level of fluency, which exactly matched the results from my iTalki test.

Johana is a wonderful teacher! She gives me plenty of time to speak in class, while providing helpful corrections.
