To obtain this certificate, I was required to pass several examinations, create lesson plans to assess different skills, implement various teaching techniques, and pass a final exam. Throughout my training, I also received valuable feedback from professionals in the field.

CertTESOL - Trinity College London - 2019I graduated from a 670-hour teaching training program. Although it was aimed at teaching English, I learned a lot about teaching approaches, pedagogical techniques, and learning methods. I had the opportunity to teach students of different levels, ages, and backgrounds while being assessed by experienced professionals. The teaching skills I gained are universal, and I apply them to my Spanish lessons as well.

I was very nervous to have the whole lesson be in Spanish but Marina helped to reassured me that I was in a safe learning space where mistakes were ok. It felt comforting to know that I had a teacher to care to listen to me when I spoke when I felt like I was making a lot of mistakes, but she was able to take that to help me to learn how to improve and to do better. I truly appreciate her patients and for wanting to help me to get better with Spanish,
