After two years on Italki, Filippo’s method is by far the most impactful I’ve found. I had a great second lesson with Filippo! Filippo has a true passion for film that really shines through, and his cinema-focused lessons are a great way to both learn more about film (especially Italian film) and also have a new and interesting topic to cover in each class. Filippo is very prepared for each lesson and even sends discussion questions in advance to offer an opportunity for additional writing practice or help prepare for discussion. He does a great job facilitating discussion during the lesson and provides a good balance of letting the conversation flow and giving feedback. Would definitely recommend, especially for intermediate/advanced learners who are looking for additional exposure to native materials/natural dialogue through film. Grazie mille!
