Another excellent lesson with Paola, as always. It's a pleasure to pass an hour in conversation together, and she still manages to smile as I butcher this beautiful language with my efforts! Having said that, I have come a long way with her guidance. When we started, my knowledge of Italian was very poor, but I can now talk with some confidence for more or less the full hour. A remarkable achievement for which Paola deserves a lot of credit! Sure, I have to put in some work between lessons, but seeing the results during our lesson makes it so worthwhile. She is great at conversation and the chat never dries up. It's like talking to an old friend. Thank you Paola. I look forward to exploring in new directions with you, wherever they take us.

My first lesson with Paola was excellent. She was able to quickly gauge my ability, and to tailor our conversation accordingly. That is to say, she speaks to you at a level that she knows you’ll be comfortable with. She’s very organized in her approach, and has useful suggestions as to how to structure her lessons with you (as well as how to improve your Italian on your own). However, she’s also very flexible and willing to tailor the lessons to the needs of the student. Finally, she’s very skilled at keeping the conversation moving along, which is very important for someone like me, who is still struggling with getting up to speed. An hour with Paola will fly by for you. My first lesson has motivated me to work even harder towards my goals, and I’m already looking forward to our next lesson. I highly recommend her!

Paola is a wonderful Italian teacher; she pushes me to speak at my best level, but when talking with her I never feel intimidated by the fear of making a mistake. Instead the words tend to flow freely as if I were speaking with a longtime friend. I look forward to our lessons and I highly recommend her to those who are looking for an Italian teacher.

At the start of our lesson I was feeling a little rusty and struggled a little to speak clearly. Thanks to Paola's relaxed style and gentle encouragement I quickly relaxed and soon I was back to speaking at my normal level. I highly recommend Paola as an Italian teacher.
