Hi! This is Ziyu :)
I hold a bachelor's degree in Chinese Language and Literature. Following my graduation from university, I started my journey as a Chinese teacher on Italki since 2020.

Currently, I am studying for economics and computer science at Technical University of Munich while simultaneously working in the field of finance.

After graduating from university, I began teaching Chinese online. Over the course of three years, I have interacted with and taught over 200 students, conducting more than 1000 lessons.
During weekends, I teach at a Chinese school in Munich, where many Chinese children born in Germany face unique challenges in learning Chinese.
I believe that Chinese is an elegant and deeply meaningful language, and I thoroughly enjoy delving into the profound meanings behind Chinese characters. I hope I can assist you in learning Chinese and help you develop a love for this language :)我的課程內容與教學風格

Great lesson with Ziyu! Ziyu told me about a trade fair that she went to recently. We talked about relationships and marriage in China. There were some similarities and some big differences between China and the US, which made for interesting conversation. It was an enjoyable lesson and Ziyu handled the sensitive topics in a professional manner!

Great lesson with Ziyu! We talked about transportation - especially buses. We also talked about school and class reunions. I told Ziyu about how these things are in the US and she told me about them in China. It was fun sharing these personal experiences!

Great lesson with Ziyu! We talked about current events in China, especially for young people looking for jobs. Ziyu also told me about her recent work schedule and things that she experienced on the job. Lessons with Ziyu are really helping my speaking and listening skills!

Great lesson with Ziyu! We talked about medicine in the US, Europe and China. We also talked about cultural differences - speaking directly, politely turning down offers of help, etc. We also talked about cities in the US and China. Ziyu explained a lot of things that I wasn't aware of, which was really interesting. Ziyu is a really good conversation partner because she is easy to understand!
