Hi there! I'm Bente, a professional German and English teacher living in Namhae, a beautiful island in South Korea. I'm half Japanese, half Austrian and was born in Denmark but grew up in Germany. I also speak fluent Korean, moderate Japanese, some basic Chinese, Spanish and Portuguese and soon some Russian :)
I have studied and worked in countries like Japan, Korea, China and some European countries since I was in my teens. Since then, more than traveling I loved to actually live in other countries~ That way I have always used foreign languages a lot, which is the only way to truly experience and understand a culture on a deeper level and learn the language in a natural way.我的教學經歷
My expertise is fluency training so you can speak without thinking!
My other expertise is business and bureaucratic German like visa or university entrance applications, German proficiency tests like DaF/DaZ or LiD.
I like to teach not only the language but also about how to live in Germany, how to apply for things, how to manage all the paperwork that you sometimes have to deal with when you live in Germany, including business letters and resumes! Since I have not come across a perfect textbook yet, I usually make my material according to my students individual needs. And since we're not studying in a class with many people but just the two of us, you can use all of my knowledge and expertise!
We can focus on anything you need, may it be that you need to pass a certain level test from A1-C1, I can help you with grammar, writing, listening and speaking. We can also just talk about anything you are interested in or need help with, e. g. living, working or studying in Germany, etc.我的教材

She is so interesting to have a talk with. Her life is very exciting. We talked the whole time. She was very kind and helpful. She even offered to prepare some exercises for me for the next lesson where I can practice things which I have more trouble with.
