Are you a shy or introverted business professional? Are you overwhelmed or terrified to speak English even though you understand a lot of what you hear? I am an introvert and I understand exactly how you feel.
Sometimes you feel pressure to speak quickly and clearly in the workplace but when you’re learning a language that isn’t easy. Since I know how hard it is to speak to new people in *any* language, I never pressure my students to give quick answers. I know you need time to think. I know you need time to choose your words. Don't know what to talk about? It's okay. I use lists with questions about everyday topics or business English podcasts with transcripts to guide our conversations.我的教學經歷
I am a certified TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) teacher. I completed a 168-hour Teaching Qualifications UK Level 5 course by The TEFL Academy in the UK which emphasized using the communicative method and teaching in context.
I can be of special help to business professionals who are natives of Spanish, French, Croatian, Serbian, and Italian because I speak/study these languages myself.
I also give my students access to a growing list of learning resources and methods they can use to improve their English on their own. If you are serious, you must develop all four skills and you must do a lot of this work on your own. I can help you find the tools and techniques to do this.我的課程內容與教學風格
*I do not teach grammar.* I give all my lessons using a Google Document that you will view during the whole lesson. This helps you see the best ways to say things. During the lessons, I will help you speak, exercise your vocabulary and descriptive skills, and work on your pronunciation. I will do my best to help you feel comfortable. In the Google Doc, I will also show you alternative ways to express the same ideas. This means you won't feel like you're repeating the same vocabulary and phrases over and over again.
I offer General Conversation Practice, Business English Conversation Topics, and Customized Video Lessons.

Abby is the best English teacher I ever met on italki! She is knowledgeable , passionate and inspiring, and because she is a multilingual speaker herself, she understands exactly how it feels like to learn a foreign language, which makes a huge difference.
