I’m Antonella—a DITALS-certified Italian teacher, medical translator, and cardiovascular perfusionist with a passion for linguistics. With over a decade of teaching experience and a foundation in medical science, I specialize in medical Italian, accent refinement, and phonetic precision (enhanced by my background in radio diction training 🎙️). Having personally navigated the journey of studying English and other languages, I deeply understand the challenges—and rewards—of language acquisition. My goal is to help you develop clear, confident, and natural Italian communication我的教學經歷
Since I have personally gone through the language learning process, I know quite well what it feels like to learn a language and I can understand how difficult it can be. It took me almost 10 years to learn English and I am still trying to improve my language skills.
I believe in a relaxed teaching method that puts students at ease.
I love linguistics, in particular phonetics and I like to help students acquire the correct pronunciation and intonation from the very first lesson. 我的課程內容與教學風格
Lesson content is flexible and tailored to your goals and language level. I always try to make my lessons as interesting and effective as possible.
I am a good listener and I always let the student talk as much as possible. I don't like to interrupt students while they talk (unless specifically requested). I usually write all the corrections in the chat window so that you can correct your mistakes as you speak or read them after class.
I will also correct and discuss your writing exercises when needed.我的教材

Antonella is an excellent teacher! The lessons progress at good pace, yet they are calm and enjoyable. Her beginner workbooks have an organized, useful mix of reading, writing, and answering questions, and in class, she asks me a lot of similar questions in italian. At my level, it helps me that she is also fluent in English to explain specific points as needed. I really look forward to our classes together and am already seeing alot more progress than learning on my own. Grazie Antonella e italki!

Un'altra lezione piena di contenuti con Antonella.
Sono anni che studio con Antonella e ho provato quasi tutti i suoi pacchetti e devo dire che questo di Business English sembra davvero promettente e interessante. Oggi abbiamo fatto "Self-Introductions". Antonella mi ha prima dato una lista di espressioni utili per presentarsi in un contesto formale e poi mi ha fatto mettere in pratica le frasi appena imparate attraverso domande specifiche e role play.
Antonella è un'insegnante attenta, preparata ed estremamente intelligente. Amo il fatto che sia una poliglotta e che durante le nostre lezioni possiamo parlare e praticare tutte e 3 le mie lingue.

Ms. Antonella is a great teacher! I love her teaching style/method. I find it helpful that when I say a sentence in Italian she allows me to say the complete sentence then informs me of any words I may have misused or mispronounced. Great teacher!
