I read Theology at Hughes Hall at the University of Cambridge and also trained as a teacher at the University and gained a PGCE and QTS. I have a CELTA qualification and taught in China for over 14 years and was an IELTS Examiner for 4 years with the British Council in the Southern China region (based in Shenzhen). My training and experience as an Examiner has given me a profound insight in how to prepare Candidates for all types of Academic Tests and I have helped many Students achieve their desired Test Scores in order to go on and study abroad.
I also teach the American Academic Tests: TOEFL, SAT, ACT, GRE and GMAT.我的教學經歷

Two years as an Examiner of the IELTS Test has given me a deep understanding of the requirements for the Test and Academic English Tests in general. I give detailed explanations of the Lexical and Grammatical Requirements for IELTS Speaking Test and how to structure the Speaking Part 2 'Long-Turn' and negotiate the 'Scripted' and 'Follow-Up Questions' in Part 3. I show students how to structure an academic essay: how to understand the question and use it to construct a Plan; what needs to be included in the Introduction; how to formulate clear Thesis and Topic Sentences; how to develop and expand ideas in the Main Body Paragraphs and how to summarize in the Conclusion.我的教材

He’s excellent at pointing out errors in writing and explaining them very clearly. On top of that, he didn’t display any racism toward me, despite the fact that I’m from Vietnam.
