Best teacher ever! He pays attention to which learning style you are susceptible to and adjusts. Like I learning through conversation and he makes an effort to make sure I can practice my speaking while learning so much new vocabulary! Thank you Jose!

Jose is a wonderful teacher whose love for learning and literature is contagious. His desire to help his students succeed is genuine. He has a wealth of knowledge which he is eager to share. His easy-going manner, his cheerful disposition and his smiling countenance which bubbles over with enthusiasm is a combination that is impossible to beat.

I’ve been taking weekly lessons with Jose on italki for several years, and he’s been an outstanding teacher. In addition to being a great conversational partner, he uses a wide variety of learning formats that keep lessons engaging and relevant — from traditional grammar and vocabulary work to music videos, newspaper articles, and discussions about current culture and events. I especially appreciate that he teaches modern, natural Spanish and slang alongside the fundamentals. My confidence and fluency have improved enormously thanks to our classes, and I highly recommend him.
