Hi! I'm Klavdia. I have a master's degree in Economics and a translator's diploma (English). I passed the Cambridge exams (B2 and C1) and I also translated a Finnish language textbook for beginners (from Finnish into Russian). I am a TEFL/TESOL certified teacher. My language proficiency is the result of many years of work on it without emigration. This is totally possible and something each of us can do.
I'm also the creator of the Finnish Daily Dialogues podcast, in collaboration with Ida, where we share practical, everyday Finnish — especially in spoken language.我的教學經歷

My teaching style is flexible. In my classes, we discuss a variety of topics while simultaneously working on vocabulary, pronunciation, and grammar. I use an interactive whiteboard and my own materials.我的教材

Kommunikointi Klavdian kanssa on aina mielenkiintoista. Hän ehdottaa jokaiselle oppitunnille asiaankuuluvia, liittyviä harrastuksiini aiheita. Kun aihe on kiinnostava, siita on mielenkiintoista keskustella, näin itse oppiminen kannusta uusien sanojen ja kieliopin etsintää ja soveltamista.

Moikka! I have been taking Finnish lessons with Klavdia (26 in total so far) since returning to Ireland from Finland last year. I was keen to find a good teacher that could help keep my discipline and motivation high, as learning a langauge while living in another country is a challenge. Klavdia has been an excellent and supportive teacher in this respect, and she is very patient and organized, preparing the lessons in advance to your need/level (this is really important for me).
The biggest compliment I can give Klavdia is that, while I have been living in Ireland and not studying/practicing as much as I should, my comprehension and spoken Finnish have improved. 5 stars!

I studied Finnish in a course for about a year, but then I stopped for almost four years. Recently, I decided to continue learning and started lessons with Klavdia. After just a few months of studying with her, I felt confident enough to try the YKI test.
Klavdia really understands how to find the best way to make her lessons are always interesting and enjoyable for every student. I always feel comfortable and motivated in her classes.
