Swati is an absolute gem! I can’t put into words how incredible my experience has been learning with her over the past two years - especially for someone like me who has never considered themselves to be good at learning a new language. She has taken my Hindi from a shaky foundation to conversational - I can now speak in Hindi on almost any topic - and I’m continuing to grow and learn with her each week. She’s boosted both my knowledge of grammar and confidence with each lesson — and all while having so much fun along the way. I truly look forward to our classes! What I most appreciate about Swati is how she always meets me where I am at — always willing to flex our classes on a dime to answer my questions (and I have a lot of questions!) to ensure I am getting the most out of them. She’s personable, professional, motivating, and super knowledgable. I consider her not just an amazing teacher but also a friend and look forward to continuing to learn Hindi with her for a long time!

Swati as an EXCELLENT teacher and communicator cannot be understated. I feel so lucky to have found her on Italki - the choice paralysis can be overwhelming (I've studied with about 20 or so teachers in different languages, some of whom were also amazing) but truly Swati is THE BEST. She is methodical, thorough, gives great examples. If I have difficulty understanding a new concept, it will take her half a second to think of alternative ways to explain. She has an incredible memory and is able to somehow remember examples we went through from 3 classes ago, although she probably has taught upwards of 500 students at this point. There is good reason why her schedule is constantly full: she is funny, patient and professional - you will be hard pressed to find a teacher this great on Italki or elsewhere!

It’s very inspiring to resume learning Hindi with Swati! Her classes are always great - instructive and uplifting. I’m really happy about this new beginning:)
