👋Hello,I'm YU from Taiwan,it’s great to meet you!
I'm a native Chinese speaker and a certified teacher with a degree in “Teaching Chinese as a Second Language”. I’ve taught Chinese online for more than 4 years and have students from all over the world. I love learning languages and to know a people from different countries. When I teach, I learn from students as well so I hope that you will make leaps and bounds when it comes to your progress as we both learn from one another!

During teaching, I mostly focus on speaking , because the speaking is the most important of learning a foreign language. The learning materials to use and lesson style is different for each student, based on your preference or what would work best for you. So just enjoy our lesson, making a lots of conversation and don't be shy to make a mistake.Every mistake you make is progress.

I normally don't write reviews, but just wanted to say that I highly recommend taking classes with Yu! I have been a student for nearly two years and my Chinese has improved a lot! Yu continuously helps me with pronunciation, improving my speaking and reading skills, all while having a fun learning environment with the right amount of challenges to help me grow my skills.
