Hello! My name is Melanie and I'm a native English speaker from the south of England with a clear, neutral British accent. I've been learning languages for most of my life and have a Bachelor’s Degree in French and German with Spanish and Dutch. I’m a patient and friendly certified teacher of English and French: 🎓 168-hour Level 5 TEFL Certificate with Distinction 🎓 La Jolie Ronde Certificate in Teaching French to Children I have experience teaching children and adults of different levels: 👩🏻‍🎓 5 years teaching French to children in 2 public primary schools in the UK 👩🏻‍🎓 1 year teaching French to children and adults 1-to-1 👩🏻‍🎓 1 year teaching British children phonics and reading as a volunteer in a primary school 👩🏻‍🎓 1 year informal English tutoring when travelling round the world

😀 Enjoyable and engaging lessons to keep you motivated 😀 Focus on the individual needs of each student ✅ Advice on successful language learning ✅ I specialise in pronunciation as I believe this is the key to being easily understood, and I studied linguistics and phonetics as part of my degree. 👩🏽🧔🏻: we can have a relaxed conversation about anything that interests you, and work on any new vocabulary, grammar points or errors that arise, or we can have a more structured lesson using authentic resources to improve your speaking, listening, reading and/or writing skills 👧🏽👦🏼: I use puppets, toys, props, games, stories and songs so children learn English in a natural and fun way!
