Elisa is absolutely wonderful! She is exactly what I was looking for in a language tutor, & after just 5 lessons, I already see & feel progress in my Italian. Lessons are comfortable and encouraging. The dynamic she maintains doesn't feel like tutor-student, but rather friends, which is incredibly comforting & allows me to make mistakes embarassment free. She is incredibly patient and has the best balance between colloquial & formal Italian. My Italian boyfriend can vouch for my progress & I quote, "you're [me] forming sentences in spoken Italian, not book Italian. Good job!" Apart from spoken Italian, she explains grammar in an accessible way, answers any & all questions I have about syntax, vocab, etc. Exercises feel fun & not daunting at all, * I really enjoy discussing my interests & culture in Italian - which means I am building my own personal lexicon, & quickly! I have no doubt that by the end of the year, I will be confident in my Italian all thanks to Elisa! Grazie mille!

Elisa is a very good teacher. I wanted conversation practice and our lessons are completely in Italian...very little to no English. She is patient and understanding of my very broken Italian but always provides me with constructive guidance for improving. Her instruction has made a very noticeable difference in my confidence and speaking in a very short time. She is definitely a "go to" Community teacher.

Elisa is super patient, caring, and adaptable to your learning style. I really feel like if I keep up with lessons, I will feel a lot more confident speaking Italian and be able to be fluent!
