Hiya, I'm Sammy, your Swedish instructor on iTalki! From Sweden, now in London, my multilingual upbringing sparked a deep passion for linguistics.
With 3 years' teaching experience and my strong interest in linguistics, I explain complex ideas clearly, making learning intuitive, engaging, and confidence-building.

My approach to teaching Swedish is structured yet highly flexible, designed to help you learn effectively and enjoyably.
We always start with your end goals and tailor lessons, materials, and activities to get you there efficiently. Throughout our lessons, I adapt the level of challenge and support to match your progress, ensuring you're comfortably challenged but not overwhelmed. Regular check-ins help us track progress and adjust our collaborative learning plan.

What are my Swedish lessons like? Expect dynamic sessions tailored to you!
We mix activities for your needs: conversation, clear grammar explanations informed by my linguistics insight, pronunciation, vocabulary, & cultural points. We use varied materials, not just textbooks!
My style is flexible: we start with your goals but adapt focus between lessons based on progress/questions. We check understanding often. We adapt between structured exercises & free chat based on what works best.
