Structured Yet Relaxed Lessons for Adult Learners (Lithuanian & English) I’m originally from Lithuania and hold a master’s degree in Marketing, but life has led me down an exciting path in language teaching. Having lived in England, South Korea, and Japan, I’ve had the chance to experience different cultures and ways of communication firsthand. I’m also married to a British person, which constantly reminds me how it feels to learn and adapt to a new language. These experiences help me connect with my students and understand their challenges from both sides of the learning process. I’ve been teaching languages for almost 10 years now. My journey began in Japan as an English instructor, and although my background was in marketing, I quickly fell in love with teaching. Helping students gain more freedom, make new friends, or explore new opportunities at work became deeply rewarding. Later, I started teaching Lithuanian — my native language — which I now specialize in. I take great pride in sharing it, not just as a language, but as a window into Lithuanian culture and way of life. In my lessons, I balance structure with flexibility — I’m organized and always come prepared with clear goals, but I also believe learning should feel relaxed and enjoyable. I take time to adapt to each student’s pace, needs, and interests. We’ll work through grammar and vocabulary steadily, but I also include fun, lighter lessons for days when focusing feels harder. Lessons with Sigita are always so fun. Her worksheets are effective and I have learned so much in a month. It's hard to believe how much I know now, and it is going to be fun to see how much I am going to know by next month. The progress I am seeing is so motivating, and I am starting to feel like a true Lithuanian. :)
