Learning a new language can be a very stressful, frightening experience for many people. We question our abilities and working with new people can be challenging at times.
As a foreign language student, as well as a teacher, I have experienced these feelings first hand, and I know how important it is to find the right teacher to help you achieve your language goals.
Hello. My name is Steven and I am an English teacher from the United States. For the past six years I have been enjoying life abroad. I have lived in Barcelona, Madrid and currently I am living in the beautiful city of Lisbon, Portugal.我的教學經歷
I think the most important things to consider in language studies are what the student wants to get from the classes and also the learning style of each individual student. For these reasons our first class will always be focused on getting to know each other and discussing expectations and desires for the classroom, as well as determining your needs and interests. We can then tailor your class to optimise the learning experience.我的課程內容與教學風格
The class time is yours and I want you to get as much from each class as possible. I also enjoy incorporating subjects which interest my students into the classes. If you enjoy music we can learn about musicians and concerts. If you are into technology we can tailor our classes to learn more about technological terms.
My style is very casual and relaxed. Conversational classes, with lessons inserted into the conversation. More traditional structured classes are offered, as well.
