Hello, my name is Arne and I'm from the Netherlands. I have a university Master's degree in Interaction Design and worked in that area for a few years. After working at the University of Singapore for almost two years I realized that I enjoy teaching or supporting others in their studies. In the Netherlands, I used to help students with mathematics, and in Singapore, Taiwan, and Japan I’ve had many opportunities to help students with their English and Dutch courses, preparing tests, correcting writing assignments, and practicing conversations. Every lesson is, of course, different. But I take a personal approach in my classes. When students have their own learning plan, I will support that. During the class(es) we can discuss and evolve the way we are working together. I will check on you and I'm always open to suggestions!
An important part of my teaching is that I type notes for you in an online document. So, you can see them in real-time and I can guide you to build your sentences.我的教材

One of the best lessons which I ever had on italk. Arne is a very talented teacher, he can identify the weak points and guide on improvements with simple and clear examples. Looking much forward to the upcoming lessons.

Arne is great! He makes you speak dutch, he lets you think, he doesn't quickly help you if you are struggling he will give you time to think, which really helps you grasp the language. He goes the extra mile for you. Arne lets you feel that hes there for you and wants you to succeed, he's not getting paid to help you, he wants to help you and appreciates the payment. Something like that. I 1000% recommend Arne. If you need a teacher that wants to really help you, and goes the extra mile this is THE MAN!
