I am a professional language instructor, trained to teach English and also Chinese. With English, I am a native speaker and I have about 10 years of teaching experience. I am certified by the 国际汉语教师 to teach Chinese and I've tested up to HSK 6.證書
International Chinese Teachers Association Certificate - ICA - 2016This certificate is technically made for native speakers of Chinese, and it's most common usage is for employment in a company that has need for Chinese teachers, for example, a company in China that employs foreign managers (those managers would need to learn Chinese). Someone who is not Chinese is eligible for this certificate if they pass the top level HSK test. In my case, I use it to show that I am indeed proficient in written and spoken Chinese, and I use it for employment wherever I can!

English and Chinese TeacherI've been doing private Chinese and English teaching, including classes using video chat software. This helps because I am not new to connecting with people over the internet.

Sustainable Agriculture VolunteerA major area of interest during my service was language learning, specifically, how can a new volunteer become a conversational in a new language within 2 months. What I learned in working with that has helped me teach languages over the past 8 years.
