My name is Marcel. I am from the US. I enjoy self-learning: I taught myself guitar as a teenager. Today, I am teaching myself to play violin and speak Arabic. When I am not teaching a language, learning a language, or playing an instrument, I enjoy reading books.我的教學經歷
My mission in life is to listen to people, to appreciate their life stories, and to guide them as they acquire English. I truly enjoy watching my students progress and achieve their objectives.我的課程內容與教學風格
Lessons are co-created with my students. We brainstorm topics and situations which are interesting or needed. Together we sort them according to your priority. From there, I can seek materials and design activities out of them for you. You will learn by completing tasks that require you to use English to complete them.我的教材

Marcel es un maestro muy carismático.
Lo que más me gustó de de su plan de enseñanza es que confecciona sus clases con los temas o profesión que le interesa a sus alumnos (evitando concentrarse mucho en temas generales)
Si eres un médico, el aprendizaje de inglés se concentrará en temas de esa profesión; esto hace que la enseñanza sea muy activa activa, e interesante todo el tiempo...

Marcel's guidance has certainly "unearthed" my father's English. Over the course of 12 lessons so far he has gone from sparse and butchered sentences to successfully communicating in limited contexts.
All of this was thanks to 1-hour-long weekly classes, since he wasn't setting time aside for independent study at all.
This means that Marcel's teaching techniques and approach deserve all the credit for the progress he has made.
As a teacher he's a really good deal without a doubt, and very dedicated to his students 👍🏽👌🏽

I had a great trial lesson with Marcel. We tried TPRS and I really liked it. I'd wanted to try this method before and with Marcel it was much better and funnier than I'd expected. I'm happy I've found Marcel here:) I'm looking for the next class.
