My name is Marcel. I am from the USA (Florida specifically). I enjoy self-learning: I taught myself guitar as a teenager. Today, I am teaching myself to play violin and speak Arabic. When I am not teaching a language, learning a language, or playing an instrument, I enjoy reading books. CELTA - Cambridge ESOL - 2021I planned and taught lessons and designed lesson materials in collaboration with other teachers in a virtual environment for online classes consisting of 10-30 diverse students from 3 different continents. I analyzed student communication and compared it with language resources to adapt content to their level and address student difficulties. I had a great trial lesson with Marcel. We tried TPRS and I really liked it. I'd wanted to try this method before and with Marcel it was much better and funnier than I'd expected. I'm happy I've found Marcel here:) I'm looking for the next class.

Marcel's guidance has certainly "unearthed" my father's English. Over the course of 12 lessons so far he has gone from sparse and butchered sentences to successfully communicating in limited contexts.
All of this was thanks to 1-hour-long weekly classes, since he wasn't setting time aside for independent study at all.
This means that Marcel's teaching techniques and approach deserve all the credit for the progress he has made.
As a teacher he's a really good deal without a doubt, and very dedicated to his students 👍🏽👌🏽
