I'm a very British family man, brought up to enjoy cricket, rugby, and sailing. I have done a wide variety of jobs in my life, but the academic world is my natural habitat.
We've moved to Spain for the warmer weather and people, away from the chill of Brexit, and the kids are loving it: they are now tri-lingual, speaking Gallego as well as Spanish (Castellano) and English.
I am interested in most subjects (even fashion!), so I'm most likely to be interested in what you're interested.我的教學經歷
I first developed a love of teaching when I was a sailing instructor. Later, I studied English literature (I enjoy teaching academic English), took a teacher-training course, and then spent two years teaching in schools around Bristol in England.
When we started having children, I needed more flexibility to help with caring for the children, so I came out of the classroom to give private tutorials.
I've continued this in Spain, and, in this internet-connected world, it is now a natural progression to give online tutorials as well.我的課程內容與教學風格
My tutorials are built around what you need to improve your language skills, be that in areas of grammar, conversation, pronunciation, writing the language, or just confidence in using the language. I create lessons with subject material that interests you and we go at a pace that suits you: no pressure from me!
I generate lessons using the structure and syllabuses from selected textbooks, so that you cover all the material needed for different levels of exams. I re-visit previous learning also to consolidate your proficiency in the language.
Above all, I am sympathetic to your strivings to acquire English as a language, and I take pleasure in your successes.我的教材
