IELTS Specialist | Great conversationalist | worked in multiple industries If there is a word to describe me as a person, that would be ,”strategic.” I thrive with patience and perseverance and it is the same qualities that I apply at work , hobbies and endeavors. I am a nurse by profession but my experience is mainly focused in teaching, sales and customer service. These are jobs that require eloquence or good communication skills. Perhaps, even a touch of magnetism. I do podcasting as a hobby and a business. I also do sales on social media through affiliate marketing. Perhaps, my focus as a person is gaining skills. This is why aside from teaching, I also work in other industries.

我的教學經歷

As a teacher, my experience working in a variety of industries helps me communicate well to different types of people. I used to be a nurse and a customer service representative. I currently do sales and marketing on social media which allows me to work well with people who are in similar industries. As a teacher, I can be easy going and strict at the same time. This depends on the goal of the lesson. Overall, I would describe myself as an effective communicator and a good listener, in which both skills are needed when teaching.

My teaching style is dynamic and strategic. I make sure to ask my students about their goals and their industries, their reason for learning and their motivation. These factors affect the class and their learning goals and this includes even their free time. I have 13 years of teaching experience and I specialize in teaching IELTS, TOEFL, Business English. I create lesson plans and homework as needed. I adjust my teaching style depending on the students' goals. Conversational English is more relaxed than Business English but in both lessons, I do the paraphrasing so that the students can review something. Overall, I make sure that learning is fun and at the same time productive.

Florian is a very supportive teacher. Her preparation lessons for the IELTS speaking exam are very engaging and instructive. She motivates me to study hard in order to prepare well for the exam and challenges me with difficult discussion topics during the lessons. She is a very positive person and we don't miss out laughing together in class as well.
