Yuri Tezuka

This lesson was really nice, we had a really good conversation at the start of the lesson where I didn't really have to slip into English much so I was quite happy with myself. Afterwards, Yuri tested me on the grammar I was taught last lesson. Yuri was really helpful the whole lesson, answering any questions that I had. I always enjoy my Japanese lessons with Yuri and I really look forward to the next one.

Yuri-san is a great teacher. I enjoy her lessons very much and I feel that we have a good rapport and can talk about anything. Yuri-san is also understanding when I make mistakes and helps me to build my confidence in learning and speaking Japanese. Despite Yuri-san telling me, I also feel that I have vastly improved with my conjugations this week. I believe it is because Yuri-san has been prompting me to practice it a lot recently and I know it has really helped me. I'm thankful that Yuri-san is my teacher and is able to identify my "problem" areas and can work with me on it for improvement.ゆりさん、てつだって　くれてありがとう！

Today we talked about our travel, and I was quite surprised that I could express myself in Japanese more than before. I feel that my Japanese is progressing a lot. I find every lesson with Yuri-san enjoyable! Thank you so much!

Today was my 20th lesson with Yuriさん！ Classes with Yuriさん seem to get funner as we go along! She has found the perfect pace and difficulty to keep me motivated. I'm happy to say that I have very little signs of burnout. My vocabulary has expanded greatly, and my understanding of particles and grammar has become much better. There are times where I inevitably struggle learning new concepts. I remember getting very upset at myself, thinking Yuriさん wouldn't notice. I get the feeling, however, that she felt my frustration by the way she proceeded to teach afterwards. In sneaky ways she would continue to ask me challenging questions that would make me realize where I was making mistakes. Once I finally grasped the concept, she was extremely encouraging and my disappointment disappeared right away. It's like she has a 6th sense! :O Thank you Yuriさん! You are very good at what you do, and me and all of your students appreciate you :)
