Hello, my name is Shinae. I'm pleased to meet you! From your first days with Korean, learning the alphabet and the sounds, I can help you build the Korean language skills to get by and thrive. For more advanced speakers we can work on understanding songs, Korean for business and building more complex sentences. Take a look at each of the class types I offer to see the kind of things my students usually learn! I hope this can be a place for cultural exchanges on various topics and to discover interesting things about Korea.
안녕하세요. 저는 정신혜(Shinae)라고 합니다. 만나서 반갑습니다. 매체가 다양해진 요즘 한국과 한국어에 대한 관심이 늘어남에 따라 한국어 강좌를 열수있게 되어 감사하게 생각합니다. 다양한 주제를 가지고 문화적 교류의 장이 되고, 한국에 대한 흥미가 더 많아지는 계기가 되면 좋겠습니다.我的教學經歷
I've been a full time, online Korean teacher and tutor since the end of 2021. I'm happy to teach in English or Korean, whatever helps you to achieve your goals faster!
In 2013 I spent the year teaching Korean to Russian / Korean children, it was a great experience and I really enjoy working with both kids and adults.

1. In my classes we work in an informal way so that you can feel free to make mistakes! If you are making mistakes that means that you're stretching what you can do with your Korean and that's great! We can use these mistakes to learn and improve your Korean!

The lesson built upon what I had learned in the previous lesson. There was a goal in teaching a few specific grammar points that were discussed thoroughly. The teaching material was at my level and whatever I did not know was explained well. The technology is used well with the personalized Google Doc. That is one of my favorite things about the lessons.
