I have been teaching French for 4 years in classes (in France, in Georgia, in Peru) and for 2 years online. I can adapt my way to teach according to your profile and your objectives.
I had different adult profiles: people in love who met a French woman or French man, persons who want to study in a French speaker country, retired people or just people who love French language.
I speak English very well. I also have a Spanish intermediate level. I also know a little bit of German, Polish, and Georgian.
So I understand the difficulties than the different students can have with learning my mother tongue.

I respect your learning rhythm.
We choose one topic together. We can study many documents on the same topic. The amount of time that we spend on the topic is variable, it’s up to you. During the class, you talk as much as you want.
When we are done with one topic, we can study the same topic, in the upper level, or we can just change of topic, it’s up to you.
Between 2 classes, I will always give you some homework to do (studying on oneself is also important). You will make the exercises on our common notebook, and I will correct it, you will be able to see everything.
During the following class, normally you will be able to talk about the document studied during your free time.我的教材

Yoann has been a huge guide with my enjoyment of the French language and culture. He has a blended approach we have used different techniques as I have developed. He is a patient and genuine teacher. We are at a stage where we have extremely interesting discussions regarding a wide range of topics, politics, sports, cycling, European history, climate change, renewables, current affairs etc. Its fascinating having the same open and honest debates that I have with people here in the UK in English using French! Thanks Yoann!

From my experience as a student, Yoann ranks in the top percentiles of the teachers I’ve met so far. He has a deep subject-matter knowledge of the French language, which allows for precise, on-the-spot answers to grammar/vocabulary questions, as well as experience with a wide range of pedagogical methods which steepens the learning curve further. His vibrant classes allowed me to start as a beginner and transition to intermediate level - and I am motivated to aim for the next challenge! Thank you Yoann for the good work!

As others have noted, Yoann is great for helping you with French grammar. He has his own grammar materials (both instructions and exercises) that he seems to have made himself and that provide a fresh perspective on various topics (pronouns, comparatives, tenses, etc). These are concise and I find them very useful. He color-codes sentences to expose grammatical relations as well; at first I wasn't sure if this was worth all the effort he puts into it, but now I've come to appreciate it and find it helpful. He will also grade your answers to his exercises between lessons. Overall Yoann is an excellent for learning or refreshing your French grammar.

I have been taking lessons with Yoann and I'm very happy with my improvement. Yoann is an extremely knowledgeable French teacher. One of his biggest assets is that he can break down just about any issue with the French language to the absolute root. He genuinely wants for his students to really learn the French language.
