Bonjour, Bonsoir, Honè.
Haïti (Cheri), it's a cute little island where I'm living. Yes, I'm Haïtian and I speak French, Creole, and English. I think French is a beautiful language. That's why I love to read, watch french movies, and I love teaching. I will be happy to help you with this language. Also Creole is very interesting to me and sometimes funny. A lot of Creole expressions are funny for me. Don't you want to know some of those expressions? Creole keeps me in touch with the history of my country. The culture here is so amazing. Studying architecture keeps me open-minded, curious, and capable of sharing my knowledge. So I can't wait to talk and help you. See you soon.我的教學經歷

Mon style d'enseignement sera surtout basé sur les discutions qu'on aura, ainsi tu pourras mieux pratiquer ta prononciation. Par ailleurs, nous pourrons lire des articles, des livres, écoute de la musique, faire des exercices de grammaire. Je te donnerai le nom de certains films, musiciens, YouTubers, blog afin que tu puisses t'entrainer à écouter. Je prépare également des documents, powerpoint.
My teaching style will be mainly based on our discussions, so you can practice your pronunciation better. In addition, we will read articles and books, listen to music, and do grammar exercises. I will give you the names of some movies, musicians, YouTubers, and blogs so that you can practice.我的教材

Raphaëlle has a great personality. She asked me questions to start. Then, we spent around 5 minutes speaking about Hatian creole. She was able to explain not only the phrases but how they came about which was really interesting. The last part of the lesson we spent on tongue twisters and a game. It was a great lesson!

Raphaëlle is the beeeeest! I wish I could have class with her every day. Every time I talk to her I can tell my Creole is improving. I’m an avid language learner so I’m pretty picky when it comes to choosing a teacher, and I can assure you she is the best for Creole. She is amazing at adapting her speech (rhythm, speed, and vocabulary) to your level, as well as keeping the conversation flowing no matter what your level is. In addition, she writes all corrections & new words/phrases in the chat! 10/10, couldn’t ask for a better Creole teacher. Mèsi anpil, Raphaëlle! M ta renmen pran kou ak w chak jou. I am a huge fan of Haitian Konpa music, and I asked Raphaelle to help me translate my favorite song into English. During our lesson, she was friendly, engaging, patient, and helpful. Raphaelle is a wonderful teacher and I look forward to working with her again soon.

Working with my Raphaelle tutor has been deeply meaningful, not just educational. She is an excellent teacher who explains the language clearly and patiently, making even difficult concepts feel manageable.
What makes her truly special is how she connects language learning to culture and identity. She has taught me so much about Haitian history, and has helped me feel closer to my Haitian roots and understand the language as something living and personal—not just words and grammar.
