진아 Jina

Jina is a phenomenal teacher! I’m a little broken record each month leaving the same gushing review here, haha. If you’re on the fence about having a lesson with her, don’t think about it, just do it! I have learned so much from her and I truly look forward to our lessons. I am so glad I found her!

I used to take lessons with Jina back in early 2020 and I just started back up again today! Jina is just as great as I remember. We spent this first lesson having a general conversation to see how much I remembered and it went much better than I expected! Jina was very encouraging and enthusiastic when I was able to recall something. I definitely recommend her to anyone looking to pick back up a language that you may have set aside for a while. If you’re hesitant to try, I was too, but the experience was great and Jina made the transition back in super smooth.

I took a lesson with Jina today for the first time in 3 years. Even though I forgot so much of my Korean, she was so accommodating and fun to talk with. She’s great at making conversation and giving you opportunities to learn to say things you don’t know, and very good at English so she can help you when you get stuck. I’m looking forward to doing more lessons again soon!

I am at a weird place with Korean that doesn't fit into a box of a specific Korean level. she is wonderful at meeting me exactly where I am at and expanding from there. I never feel like rhinfs are too easy or too hard like I have before in more standardized lessons!
