We talked about home renovations, Chinese hieroglyphs, and the difference between dawn and sunrise. At the end of the lesson, Mikhail was talking about the Silk Road and European history, which was interesting to me even though I dislike history, and I have to wait till the next lesson to continue our discussion. Ой блин

Mikhail is an excellent tutor. I had trial lessons with 5 different teachers before deciding to continue with him. He was by far the most fun.
He's very engaging and encouraging and has a great sense of humor. He's also very good at pacing the lessons to meet your needs and he provides all materials necessary (pdf textbooks, podcasts, memrise, etc).
I highly recommend having classes with him.

Mikhail is a pro at guiding a conversation to help better understand errors and keeping the lesson really productive. He is very good at adapting to the level of the student while also challenging the student further. Mikhail is a great tutor for students who want to feel comfortable in the language.
