With nine years of experience living and working in the Philippines, I bring a unique cross-cultural perspective to English language instruction. As a TEFL-certified educator (Level 5, Distinction), I specialize in helping adult professionals achieve real-world communication success through focused training in fluency, idiomatic expressions, and cultural nuances. My teaching methodology comes from personal experience adapting to a new culture, which has enabled me to guide hundreds of students in business, travel, and daily communication contexts. Outside of teaching, I occupy my time exploring the island by motorcycle and rescuing animals whenever possible.

Since moving to the Philippines, I have learned how vital it is for some people to learn and use a new language. I need one for my everyday life, and speaking the local language makes my trips to immigration much more pleasant. I appreciate that an intelligent person, who has a great vocabulary in their native language, may feel frustrated when they struggle to say something in their second language. I understand how lonely it can be when the people around you cannot see your personality because you do not know how to express yourself. I also know how fabulous it feels to overcome those challenges. I understand what my students need because I am also a student. 我的課程內容與教學風格
In my opinion, most people learn well in a relaxed environment. However, it can be beneficial to have some structure unless a person has already reached their goals. Because of that, I try to adapt my sessions to the needs of each student. I have lots of lesson material for adults and share it freely with my students. I am not qualified to teach children, and I prefer adult students. I do not accept any students under 18. I do not offer or allow video or audio recordings of my lessons. However, I strongly believe in taking notes and collaborating on corrections. I always make these notes and summaries available after each session.我的教材
