After 5 lessons with Mayu, I'm more excited than ever to continue studying Japanese. She is a fun and engaging teacher and I feel like I am getting more and more comfortable using material from the textbook and new material she presents during the lesson!

I’ve been taking lessons with Mayu-sensei for almost 2 months now, and I am beyond impressed by how quickly I am learning with her. The lessons are quick but effective (I do 2x 25 min lessons per week) and the homework is always very fair and effective, really wraps up and solidifies the learning. Mayu is skilled and personable. She challenges you, without giving answers away, to make you really think and practice. She’s not just a teacher— it feels like a friend who wants to see you succeed!

I have always looked forward to Mayu Sensei’ lesson. She incorporates interesting topic for naturally expansion of vocabulary and native Japanese expression which is invaluable. I am really thankful for being able to learn from Mayu Sensei. いつもマユ先生のクラスが待ち遠しいです。先生は色んな言葉や自然な表現を教えてくださいました。相談していたトピックも面白いし、先生もとても親切し、本当に心から感謝しております。
