Привет! My name is Vika, and I’d love to be your guide to learning Russian!
I’ve always been passionate about the Russian language and literature—I even participated in competitions and wrote for the school newspaper. Outside of teaching, I enjoy reading, yoga, and hiking.
Traveling is also a big part of my life; I've visited 20+ countries. In 2023, my husband, daughter, and I moved from Russia to the UK. I have Ukrainian roots, but my parents moved to Siberia in the 1980s for work, and that's where I was born and bread.
In the past four years, I’ve taken several courses in teaching Russian as a foreign language, and it’s been incredibly rewarding to see my students grow.
My approach focuses on creating a relaxed atmosphere where you can speak freely without fear of making mistakes. I love asking questions and encouraging you to share your own stories, making our conversations feel natural and enjoyable.

I’ve been studying with Vika for a long time and highly recommend her to anyone preparing for exams or just wanting to improve their Russian. She’s very patient, easy to talk to, and always takes the time to correct my mistakes and explain things properly. She helped me a lot with my C2 exam preparation, especially the speaking part. We did practice speaking tests together many times, and thanks to that I passed that section (and the exam) successfully. Highly recommend!
