Shalom! I'm Tamar, a 37-year-old mother to Lenny and Liam, and the partner of Barak. We live in Portugal, where time moves at a more leisurely pace, allowing us to truly savor each moment and connect deeply with the rhythm of life. In addition to being mother and partner, I am also a speech therapist, Hebrew teacher, Hatha Yoga teacher, and mindfulness practitioner. My journey into language and communication began at a young age, fueled by a desire to bridge gaps and foster understanding among people. This passion led me to pursue a career where I could help others unlock the power of language and connect with each other on a deeper level.我的教學經歷
I am an experienced speech therapist with a decade of specialized expertise in private tutoring. My extensive background primarily focuses on working with younger age groups, spanning from kindergarten to grade 5, as well as with individuals aged 18 and older.我的課程內容與教學風格
Drawing inspiration from the way infants effortlessly absorb language, I have developed a unique teaching system that encourages my students to tap into their innate abilities. Whether you're learning Hebrew as a beginner or seeking to deepen your understanding of the language, my approach goes beyond mere words and grammar. In my classes, you'll find an atmosphere infused with warmth and love, where students feel empowered to explore and express themselves freely. As a speech therapist, I also offer expertise in accent reduction. I am here to support you on your journey towards greater connection and understanding. This was my 6th lesson. Excellent! I'm struggling to remember the new vocabulary but Tamar is very good at reinforcing the words. We can conduct most of the session in Hebrew. I am going to continue with the lessons.

I had a great time! The conversation felt natural and flowed well, Tamar adjusted really well to my level of speech/fluency, and she kept a running tab of all the new words/grammar mistakes/etc. that we went over during the lesson so I could review after. She also sent me some homework to do. Overall, really fun lesson and after only one lesson I'm already feeling really good about these lessons!
