Hi! 👋🏻 I’m Emma, a native English speaker from the US with a bachelor's degree in English and Creative Writing.

As a teacher, I’m very patient, and I always place my students’ comfort as my top priority, so that they feel relaxed and confident enough to converse in English and improve their skills.
I have two years of experience teaching students, and I also have many years of experience studying a variety of languages here on Italki.

My teaching style is interactive and supportive. I offer reading lessons where we read together, allowing students to engage with the text. This approach helps improve comprehension, pronunciation, and critical thinking. I encourage discussion, ask questions to deepen understanding, and create a comfortable environment where students feel confident to express their thoughts.
I also type notes into a personalized Google Document for each student.
Depending on the goals of my student, I can take note of:
- Errors the student makes
- A vocabulary list
- Grammar explanations
I can also provide links to helpful and fun exercises, games, videos, or websites.我的教材
