I'm Carolina and I'm from the UK, with an easy-to-understand, neutral British accent. My areas of interest are:
1) helping professionals/serious students with their fluency through fun and dynamic conversation classes (exercises provided);
2) accent reduction (audio recordings supplied);
3) helping medical professionals with their English - role plays and conversations relevant to the workplace.
I will correct errors and write them down for you in a document that you can access any time. I am a perfectionist, so there is no escape!我的教學經歷
I started teaching English in 2009, firstly in a specialist language school and then to private students. I have also:
* done voiceovers for radio and film;
* edited a book (about Business English);
* devised and taught an English course to victims of human trafficking.
I pride myself in taking time to research your mother tongue which helps me understand why you make the mistakes that you make or pronounce words the way that you do. This means that you get results faster and we both end up happy!

I will always structure my classes to suit students and their individual needs, because I know that no two students are alike or learn in the same way. Our classes will include some small talk and a grammatical focus. I will correct you as much as I can.
I put everything into my classes as I am a very enthusiastic and passionate teacher. I do what I do because I genuinely love it. For me there is nothing more rewarding than seeing students improve! One of the aspects I particularly love to work on is pronunciation - did you know that a huge part of learning any language is imitation? Let me show you how!我的教材

Carolina is one of the best English teachers I have ever had. Knowledgeable, flexible, and supportive. I am at the advanced level, where the progress is very slow, so she works as a delicate detective, recognizing and getting rid of the knowledge gaps I have. It is fun to have lessons with her.
