Luis is incredible. I meet with him twice a week each week to practice speaking in Spanish. Our lessons are truly FUN! He always comes prepared, with thoughtful prompts and questions to spark our conversations. We chat about a whole variety of topics, ranging from our daily lives, to current events, to specific categories of vocabulary I want to work on. Our conversations are EXTREMELY helpful and have completely elevated my level of understanding, and my comfort in speaking Spanish. Beyond conversational Spanish, he also teaches me important grammatical lessons, ranging from the different verb tenses to sentence structure, to the use of specific words in different contexts. When there is a specific grammatical rule that I need to work on, he sends over helpful resources, worksheets, homework, etc. He is simply outstanding. Our lessons are something I look forward to each week, every time. I couldn't do it without Luis!

Luis is the first teacher I've tried conversing with since I started learning Spanish and it's been a great experience so far! Lessons with him are challenging but in the best way. He helps me improve by introducing a wide range of thought provoking themes. He consistently translates and corrects what I say when necessary by typing out the proper sentence, and he sends me clear notes at the end of each lesson, which I really appreciate. He also incorporates relevant grammar points and is happy to share additional resources when I need them. Totally recommend!
