Hi everyone! I'm Nina and languages are my favourite thing in the world! I speak English, Spanish, Valencian, Chinese and Croatian. I also speak some Russian, Italian and German.
My favourite hobby is acroyoga. I *love* cooking!
I have lived in 6 countries: China, Croatia, Lithuania, Serbia, Spain, the USA. I carried out short-term projects in Greece and Latvia. I have travelled around Europe, North America and a bit in Asia.
I have learned four languages and failed at learning another four. I know that language learning is difficult, but I'm here to help you.
I can't teach Croatian grammar to foreigners, I can only offer conversation practice.我的教學經歷
I have been teaching since 2014 and I'm TEFL certified.
I have lots of experience teaching both kids and adults. However, I'm NOT very experienced teaching absolute beginners. If your level is lower intermediate or higher, then I'm your teacher! :)
If you are a speaker of Chinese, Spanish, or a Slavic language, I might be a good fit for you because I'm familiar the logic of your mother tongue and can predict your weak spots.
[Cancellation/postponing policy]
If you cancel or postpone your class more than 24 hours in advance, everything is okay.
If you cancel or postpone your class less than 24 hours in advance, the make up class will be 50% shorter.我的課程內容與教學風格
[Conversation practice]
Before class, I will send you an article. You should then:
1. Read the article
2. Find new words or words you are not sure how to use correctly
3. Make new sentences with those words
4. Send them to me
In class we will talk about the word usage and discuss the article.
[Pronunciation class]
1. Assessment class: I identify the things we can work on.
2. We target those things using audio and video files.
3. I teach you to identify and copy those sounds independently.
