I am a CELTA-qualified English teacher with nearly ten years of one-to-one online teaching experience. I love learning foreign languages and meeting people from around the world. Over the years, I've studied lots of languages, so I appreciate the rewards and challenges you can meet on the way! I also work as a professional theatre director and coach business people in public speaking.我的教學經歷
I started on italki as a student, learning foreign languages, so I know how valuable online sessions with a good teacher can be. I am an enthusiastic and encouraging teacher. I want you to meet your goals – and go further! – and I know we learn best when you're relaxed and having fun. I offer a few different lessons: structured lessons at pre-intermediate and intermediate levels, for you to learn the language and practise your skills; conversation practice, where we focus on building your confidence and fluency in natural conversation; presentation/interview practice, tailored to prepare you for a professional or academic goal; and, for upper intermediate and beyond, I welcome you into my personal passions in English, by offering classes on Shakespeare and modern English theatre. What a great chance to learn and appreciate Shakespeare's work of art! I've never had such a unique and interesting lesson in a long time. Jon is an expert in his field, he prepared well, having great passion for teaching, and was very patient with students. I highly recommend him and his class!
