Sawasdii Kha, my name is Bowie. I am Thai.
I am currently working at a university in Thailand. I have enjoyably experienced in teaching languages in universities and schools in Thailand. I have a certificate in teaching Thai and I also practice singing and dancing in Thai traditions in a Thai cultural club with will be very beneficial for my students to learn the language and its culture. So my online class will be very fun and useful for my students as I am really willing to share my knowledge which they can apply according to their purposes.
Me as a Teacher
Since I am always excited to learn about languages and culture, I received a master degree and a bachelor degree in language and culture field. I love meeting and exchanging ideas with people. Because learning is the best way to entertain my brain, I always join interesting training courses or seminars and also traveling in Thailand and abroad.
Knowing that many people are interested in studying Thai language gives me the inspiration to teach the language. I believe that I have good teaching skills which can bring students enjoyable and useful lessons from the perspective of a Thai native speaker.
My course covers basic conversation in Thai, Thai sound system, pronunciation, writing in Thai, useful things in daily life as well as Cultural awareness. I did the Survivor Thai Plus+ (Short course). Bowie did a great job of explaining things so I could understand, giving useful feedback and examples, and explaining cultural aspects of speaking as well. We did a lot of speaking! I'm excited for the next lesson.

I just completed my first hour lesson and I’m extremely impressed. She developed a learning plan customized to my current Thai level instead of using a generic approach.
She is very patient and spends a lot of time helping me with pronunciation, which is something I definitely need help with. What I really appreciate is how she explains the phonetic sounds in a way that actually makes sense to me as an English speaker.
She is also very meticulous and makes sure I am pronouncing words correctly before moving forward to the next lesson. I can already tell this structured approach is going to help me build a strong foundation in Thai. Highly recommended.
