Hello! I am a native English man living in London. I teach English online and I also work as an actor, so English language skills including grammar, pronunciation and accent are all very important to my job. My film ‘Battle Over Britain’ and TV series ‘Henry VIII and His Six Wives’ are available in many countries. I have worked as a tutor on italki for over 6 years and in 2022 I was in the top 1% of English teachers.
I am friendly, positive and open-minded. I do not judge anyone based on their religion, ethnicity, sexuality, gender or country of origin. In the Conversation Practice classes I try to create a fun learning atmosphere where we can discuss a range of topics to improve your vocabulary, pronunciation, grammar and listening skills. I want you to feel more confident and relaxed when speaking in English, whether that's casually with friends, travelling or during communication for work. CONVERSATION PRACTICE
Spontaneous or pre-planned conversations. Friendly, interesting and fun! An opportunity to speak about a particular topic or have an unplanned discussion. I will listen to you and help you to correct any mistakes.
DOCUMENT CHECK
I can help you to create, improve or correct your letter, email, resume, story, personal statement and more! You can be present in the class, or I can work on it alone. Please select an appropriate length of lesson (message me if unsure).
GROUP DISCUSSION

I’ve been taking classes with Chris for a while now, and I always look forward to our lessons. He’s incredibly friendly, easy to talk to, and really knows how to create a comfortable atmosphere that helps build confidence. What I appreciate the most is how naturally he corrects my mistakes without interrupting the flow of conversation — it feels like chatting with a smart friend who always has your back.
If you’re looking for someone who’s not just a teacher but also a great listener and a supportive presence, I highly recommend giving him a try.

Good conversation in general even though it was for 30 minutes but I had a great conversation answering a lot of interesting questions from Chris today! He asked questions about me, my country and its culture, my interests and my hobbies! It was nice because he was kind, respectful to me, attentive and cool! He gave me a feedback on my English at the end of the class and he told me a pronunciation thing to improve which is great! I hope to book a lesson with him again to have another good conversation! It was nice to meet him!
